Lauren asked if she could make a turkey dinner and have Grandpa & Grandma over. With so much going on, it worked better for us to have them over for lunch. Then today, I got a call, that Great Grandma & Auntie BRae are coming down tomorrow morning and want to visit me (& ma) for awhile. They won't be in town real long though. So after talking to Lauren & Leon... we invited ma, gram & auntie to join us for lunch (& colton).
I was thinking today, how much I needed some encouragement, having gram here... i sure miss her, I just can't travel anymore. i'm excited to be able to visit with her awhile. PLUS, today's text was wonderful. I found it so encouraging. "speak consolingly to the depressed..." the point I loved was, it maybe hard to put ourselves in someone else's shoes if we have never experienced depression or chronic illness, yet, Jesus was able to show empathy, compassion and comfort to the sick & depressed and he never had health problems to deal with. LOVE it!
