With the way things are going, we are looking to make some big changes.  But where to go?  We are doing lots of praying, lots of pros and cons lists and lots of praying.  Jehovah has taken care of us for so many years and we know he will continue to do so.  But to know exactly what direction to go, that is where we need his help. Perhaps he doesn't want us to go anywhere.  We just know whatever he wants us to do, he will let us know.  

The reason we are trying to make adjustments now is because how fast things can change.  mom's health is not good, and things will be changing soon for her. We need to have a plan already into action when that happens.  Things can happen so fast... look at Sandy.  Too fast.  Plus the kids are grown up and will be moving out on there own in no time, by fall, 1 or maybe 2 will be gone, who knows maybe even 3 will be gone.  We don't know, but by fall, mom may need to move too, that will be a big change for us.  

The stress of it all, will be far to much for us to have to deal with.  Having to go through mom's stuff, and then our income will drop and then most likely 2 kids will be leaving, and then we may have to move... i think we would absolutely go off the deep end if we had to deal with all of this at the same time.  So we would like to do what we can now, so that we are prepared for what is about to happen.  

I think of the WT lesson, bringing out... "don't be anxious".   That is what we are trying not to do.  We know if we did nothing to prepare for the changes that WILL happen (not even a maybe happen, they will happen) when the time comes, if we did nothing...  whoa.   I just don't handle stress well at all anymore.  I know I would have to check into a hospital because I would be one huge mess.... full blown breakdown.  

Another reason we are addressing this now is, we worked on our taxes.  We will be getting like $200 back... for years we would get about $3000, now only $200?  HUGE hit.  We always paid our property taxes and took our DC money out of our return (and spent the rest on whatever).  We knew we would take a hit, but we had no idea it would be this bad.  Because we knew there would be a hit, we have been working on a plan to pay for those two bills.  (taxes and DC).  

So big changes for us.
