SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!

Day after day... so much pain all the time.  It is a wonder that I haven't gone totally crazy... ok, i'm pretty crazy already, but i mean "far beyond crazy", "the point of no return" crazy.  Now wouldn't that be interesting to see.

Bill has been released and is back home now.  YEAH!!!!  I'm sure he is doing a happy dance right along with the rest of us. What an incredibly long week it has been for him...and us.  So glad it is over with now!!!

I saw the sunshine for a bit and it stopped snowing...for now.  i'm not even sure how much we got, as it was melting some yesterday, I would have to guess at least 8 inches?  Some places I heard had a foot of snow, not counting all the drifting that was going on.  Colton said at the apts. you couldn't even open the door.  But with the school across the street, the complex gets so much wind all year long, so for snow it is just HORRIBLE drifting.  It is crazy, on the back side you can almost see the sidewalk in some places but up against the building you can have 18 inches.  That was always fun to clean up.  The next storm is suppose to hit us tomorrow morning and then snow all day.  I have no idea how much that one will dump on us.

So Steph and I had been working on the playlist for the dance, but neither Steph nor I listen to country music anymore.  I have no idea who is even popular these days.  But being so many in this area listen to country, we knew we had to get some country music on the list. Steph told me to ask Colton and sure enough, he had just what we needed.  He started coming up with different ideas and then he offered to be the DJ for the dance.  Steph and I were excited since it took the pressure off of us to figure it all out.  I told him that we needed to start with some lighter older songs for the older ones as they are usually the first to leave a party, then they won't miss out. We will leave the more fast pace music for a little later on.  Not that we won't have at least a couple faster ones early, it just will be a nice balance. They already know they have to carefully go through the songs to make sure they aren't wildly inappropriate and that there is no swearing.  It is unreal how many songs have curse words in them.  WAY back in my day (lol) only the worst music had any swearing, now even the clean cut songs have it.  I did the same thing with the dance we had "way back when", to go through every song and make sure it was decent.  It was a lot of work back then, but it was nothing compared to what it is now.  But I think they are doing a good job.  

I sure am surprised how many people are coming.  Well, not how many, but "who".  there were so many parties we had and invited these same ones, and they couldn't come or maybe they just weren't interested?  IDK, but they are coming to this party.  What is funny to me is some are asking if they can come.  I don't mind, but I just think that is funny.  I sure hope everyone has fun.
