Carol isn't doing well.  Every day when EO would come home from being over there, I would ask how his mom is doing... and he would just not get into specifics.  His dad was a bigger concern for him at the time.

Yesterday he was over there three times.  He got home at 11, and I asked him how they were.  EO just sat down and said...I don't know.  Colton and Lauren were also right there, and we kept asking him questions.  Then he started talking, saying how weak Carol was, that she just couldn't keep anything down.  (Dehydration instantly popped in my head, if she was too dehydrated then her organs would be ...injured), we kept asking more questions, and he said that she actually has been wanting to go back to the hospital.  ... Now i know her well enough, if she wants to go to the hospital, then she must be in really bad shape.  EO said it was mentioned that the insurance wouldn't cover it.... I stopped him and said, it absolutely will cover it.  And they will keep her until the surgery, if she can't even take in fluids, they have to keep her fluids up so that she can even handle the surgery.  And then I told him even if there were a limit on days, there are so many categories they can put this under, like for the dehydration, then the surgery, then if they want to keep her longer, because of any kind of infection or complication they can keep her.  Even in the case of Becky's mom, because of the insurance they had to send her to a nursing home for 12-24 hours and then she could return.  Hospitals have all the kinks worked out so that they can take the best care of her.

Then we continued to talk about it, and he was telling us about more of her symptoms, and he said he wished he could talk to a doc about it.  I told him, call the hospital right now, they will tell you what she needs.  So he did that.  He told them what was going on, and the one who answers phones gave the info to a nurse.  It wasn't 5 minutes and they called us back for more info.  EO told them what he could but some things he didn't know for sure.  So he gave them B&C's number to talk to Carol directly.

EO walked in the room and sat down and took a breath.  I said, sorry dear, but you can't sit, you need to go over to the house right now!  Colton said, I will go with you.  EO, said, yeah, your right.  I then asked Lauren if she could handle going up there, and she said yes, so I told Colton to let them know.  Lauren went and got her stuff together, and a few minutes later, I got a text from Colton to make sure Lauren was ready to go, that EO was going to take Carol in to the ER, as the nurse that was talking to Carol got a doc involved right away and they said to come right in.  Then Colton called me and asked if I could drive Lauren over there so that dad didn't have to drive Carol down our bumpy road.

When we got there, Stacy was helping Carol get dressed.  I took one look at Carol and she was white as a sheet and looked really bad.  Just in her appearance I could see how dehydrated she was.  I have only ever seen two other people look that dehydrated, and they were in the hospital.

I know it was hard for everyone to have to have her go back into the hospital, but she would have been in far worse condition for the surgery.  At least now, they will be able to get her fluids back up and keep her comfortable until Wednesday.    Oh, and they bumped up her surgery from Wed afternoon to Wed at 8 a.m.

Now they have the whole plan figured out on who is doing what.  Leon & Lauren stayed with Carol, and Stacy stayed with Bill last night.  Tonight Deenie will stay with Carol, and then tomorrow Steph will stay with Carol and EO will stay with Bill.  then Deenie & Stacy might be able to get some sleep at home so that they can be able to be up at the hospital real early Wednesday.

Something else that had happened was, Steph had worked in service with the Kristin and Steph told her about the goals she has and is working on as well as her plan to move to the cities.  Well, Kristin was giving her a lot of suggestions.  then the day that we found out that Carol has cancer, was the same day that Kristin talked to Steph and told her she had been praying long and hard about it for a few days, and told her that if your not ready, the cities will tear you down, they just seem to do that to everyone.  And to just reach a few more of her spiritual goals and wait 6 months before going.  Steph was sad to hear her ask that, but at the same time, Steph said to me, no one has ever taken that much of an interest in me to pray for me for days (well other than me she said).  Because she cared so much about someone she had only just met, to do such a loving thing, Steph said she just couldn't say no.  Steph said she went and thought about what Kristin had said to her and after a bit went and thanked her for caring so much and she would take it to heart and wait to move.  Then it was just a couple hours later, and we got the word about Carol.  Steph said, well, I had already decided to wait 6 months, now, with Grandma needing extra care, she said, "I just have to be here as much as I can for her".  We were the only cong to get Lundholms, and of all the subs we could have gotten, they were from the area Steph wants to move.  Jehovah just knew we, not just us, but our whole cong needed them.  He answered my prayers too with sending them because I was asking for help, as I just didn't know what I needed to do to help Steph.  I was asking for someone to take an interest in Steph and take her under their wing... and Jehovah did that.  Now Steph is looking into doing some schooling besides.  Sharron had given her some suggestions and Steph talked to her boss at the Merk, and they said whatever time she needed they will work around family and school with no problem.
