I have been just so tired.  Every chance I get, I have been trying to work on these pics.  But it is hard, because I've been feeling so poorly lately.  Did I just say "lately"?  Ok, it has been going on for ages.  But recently it seems to be more so.  Yesterday I felt so rough, I mainly just laid on the couch watching TV.  I tried a few times to scan a few pics, but I didn't get very many done. I have a feeling today won't be any different.

I had Steph help me put in some highlights last night.  My hair went super blonde.  I really need a haircut!!!  I don't think I can manage doing it myself anymore. oh but back to the blonde... this morning it isn't as bright blonde as it was last night. Well it is, but I adjusted the style a little bit and now it isn't so bright. I didn't even have the stuff in all that long.  I think it was like 10 minutes or so.  Well, the underside is really dark, but then I don't mind that it goes from light to dark.  Steph offered me a box of hair color, but I don't know if I will use it.  I am going to give it a couple days and see what I think of it.  I might leave it like this for the Memorial and then maybe change it for the assembly.  maybe?

Lauren is coming down today, to spend the afternoon/evening with us, and to get some water.  They have been drinking bottle water and even though mom is fine with it, Lauren doesn't care for it.  I told her she might want to try a few other kinds, she might find one she likes.  But she isn't drinking enough so she is bringing all of her bottles down to fill up.  When she was down Wednesday for the Pampered Chef party, she took a gallon plus a couple water bottles of water from here, home with her.  It seems funny, but we take water from home pretty much everywhere we go as we just don't like water from other places.  For years we have brought water from home to the Convention, as we don't like hotel water and although we could buy bottled water, I'm not a huge fan of it... non of us are. With all the water we drink everyday, I am so very very very thankful that we have fabulous water here. We had good water at our old house too, but this place it is just awesome!!

oh so with Lauren coming down, I guess they invited a few people over for a girls movie night.  I'm not even sure who is invited. It just didn't occur to me to ask.  I guess we will find out later today.

another project i have planned, (after Colton moves) is, we plan to put all of my sewing stuff into Lauren's old room.  Then I plan to make Steph a sewing kit.  I did that for Colton when he moved.  He says he still has it.  I started doing that for Lauren, but then Lauren started sewing more and she added to that kit herself.  Plus she now has my mom's stuff she can use too.  So now I just have to make one for Steph.  She already has a few things, because when she took sewing in school, through PennFoster, they provide a number of items.  But there isn't much for thread in their kit, so I will be adding that and a few other things.  My thought was, if they needed to replace a button or mend something, they could do it themselves.

So, my plan for today is, to keep trying to work on some of these pics.  Box up some of the items that Steph is taking (that was my mom's)  Pretty much everything I brought home the other day, she wanted, and she found a few other things besides.  Anyway, I want to box it up and put it away.

Funny thing.  So Steph saw these decorative tips, for ...frosting in the pampered chef mag.  Well, she said all she needs are tips and a bag, she doesn't need their fancy items for frosting.  Well, the next day I went over to go through ma's stuff and what did i find?  a whole bunch of those fancy tips.  So I snatched them up and when I asked Steph if she wanted them, she was so excited.  I am so glad I found those.  She has/had a bunch of them and they are all in really good condition.  Steph says she is enjoying baking so much that she wants to do more baking at home. She has been having fun with decorating cookies, cupcakes and what not at work. I am so glad she loves her job.  She is so glad she doesn't have to do extra schooling, that her other jobs helped prepare her for this one. ok, so there was extra schooling or maybe it was on the job training.

Colton loves his job, Steph loves her job...  and when Lauren gets certified I'm sure she will love her job.  She loves learning and there is a lot to it.  She has so much she has to learn about the human body and well, basically, she has to learn a lot about being a doctor because she has to understand what all the meds do for various illnesses and what not.

i'm just glad they are all doing work they are satisfied with.  We tried to help them understand, work is just a job...but life is about serving Jehovah. We have had our ups and downs, but we all just keep trying.  We all have issues to work on, we all have flaws, but if we don't give up and just try to do better, Jehovah can help us to survive.

Steph has been having more of a chance to Witness to some of the people she works with. In the beginning, not so much, because she had to focus on learning the job.  But now she is doing well enough, that she doesn't need help anymore and can Witness a little bit.  Well, then the "Noah" movie came out.  And many she works with believe it is all factual.  Well, there was a frenzy about it one day and they were just all in an full blown discussion.  But there were several who were Bible banging insisting it the movie was accurate... AUGH!  So Steph listened a bit and decided not to get involved in that debate because it would have been pointless.  Now, she is talking to a few, more one on one about it and sharing what the Bible really says. She was even able to share scriptures, using the new app for the Bible, and showing the different versions, like King James and so on.
With one gal, she was saying how we don't do holidays, but we do have gatherings and described, anniversary parties, baby showers, a few different parties we had... like the scripture dinner she got into a bit, and when she told of what kind of foods were on the plates, like olives, onions, various meat... well, when she mentioned marshmallows, the gal was like "no way, that's not in the Bible". so she showed her, and the various Bible versions..  I think the gal realized, those Bible banger's at work defending the "Noah" movie,  have nothing on the knowledge JW's have of the Bible.

I thought that was a pretty cool experience she had.
