I made it!

a long time ago... yesterday my allergies were so awful, and we had no money...at all to go get stronger meds. But I prayed and then I talked to EO... and said, there is no way I can go to the Memorial like this as I was in such agony from the sinus/allergy flare up. So he scrapped some pennies together and got me some meds. I took all I could (safely) take and then I started getting dressed. I put a blouse on, then laid down for 20 minutes. I put my skirt on and then laid down for 20 minutes. then the meds starting taking the edge off so I felt like I could at least get there. By the end of the memorial, they were starting to ware off. It was too soon, but then I was maxed out sick. I felt like I was crawling just to get down the steps then over to the car. I felt like I was thoroughly exhausted by the time I reached the Kingdom Hall door. I stepped in and there was Mike M with a huge smile and hug for me. I must have looked so bad, because everyone who looked at me could see how hard it was for me to just get there. I love Mike M, he is always the first one to give me a hug... i forget how we are related... second cousins or third or ??? I can't remember, but I don't care, cause he is my brother in the faith.
I made my way there and enjoyed the observance. It was wonderful to see a full KHall. New faces as well as old ones. So on "instangram" or any social media, I am very careful and don't follow groups unless I personally know them. Well, on instagram, there is a group i do follow even though I don't know them. Well, I can't help myself. Brothers and sisters from around the globe give their photos to post. For the past 2 weeks the pictures were almost all pics of bros & sis holding the Memorial invitation. mostly the pics were of the car group, either in the car or out, some groups were as small as 2 people (a sister from Duluth and her grand daughter were even on there) and some groups were 15+ people. But it was around the globe. Lots from Italy and California, but then many many other places like Mexico, London, Peru, Germany, Angola, Denmark and so many more. There were a number of pictures of people making the bread, pics of the places where they held the Memorial. It is just so evident that the group is being managed by Witnesses. However, if there was anything that indicated otherwise I would block that group. But it has just been so heart touching to see so many brothers and sisters out in the ministry, or at assemblies (that is another pic that is shown a lot). When I look at the pics, the bros and siss look like they live right here, I don't see foreigners, tribes, nations...all I see are happy people who love the truth. Oh, and there is one other thing, there is a lot of "jumping" in the pics. Where all the people in the group jump up and they take the picture of them in the air. It is actually funny to see the different styles of how people jump. Most sisters jump up bending their knees up under them. Lots of guys jump spreading their legs in different directions. It is pretty funny thing to see. but everyone of them have the biggest smiles when they are jumping. it isn't all young skinny people either...lol, it is so cute!!
So I am on my own today, which is fine as whoa, I am so drained. Colton finished painting the "kilz" the other day, then last night he went and did the ceiling (it is a one bedroom apt.) now today, EO is going to work on painting the rest. I don't know if he will be able to get it all done in one day by himself. But he is going to try to get as much done as he can. Next week the new flooring goes in, so he has enough time to get it done.
Steph is doing some apartment hunting. She is arranging to go see some apartments this week. they found one apartment they just love in Superior. At least the love what they see in the pics.
Lauren put her 2 weeks in at Walmart. Besides her feet being so badly flared up, she has just been running herself ragged with work, work, schooling and so on. She was saving her Walmart checks for money for the Convention, now that she has enough saved, she has been debating on leaving the job. She thought because she knew Jehovah's hand was helping her by getting the job, she should stick it out. But maybe she needed it in order to have money for convention. Anyway, she (and I ) have been praying a lot about it, plus she spent a lot of time looking up on the WT library about work. She sees how it is interfering with her spiritual goals, So she decided to let Walmart go, so she will have more energy for service and meetings. And when the time comes to get a job as a pharmacy tech, Jehovah will help her. It was a tough decision for her. But she just couldn't keep going at the pace she was at as she was hardly getting any sleep, when she wasn't working she was studding and not sleeping. so I pray her mind is at ease. Plus working for my mom, she has plenty of money to pay her bills.
Lauren came down for the Memorial, because, the Superior cong asked the friends if they could car pool as the yard was too muddy to park in right now. She just didn't know who she should ask for a ride, so she opted to come to Solon.
