The days keep getting colder. Someone said it is going to be an extra frigged winter.  That won't be fun, but at least we have plenty of fire wood.

I'm feeling really rough today.  I even took a nap.  So that can't be good.  I need to walk though.  I am trying to walk 5 days a week for 15-20 minutes.  I've got to get some control on all this weight. 

A bunch along with Colton stayed the weekend at Joey & Megan's.  For about 2 hours last night, the group came over here, as Joey & Megan were having a shepherding call.  We played Taboo, (which we never had played before) and I have to say, we sure had fun.  In fact, we had only just started when Joey called and said they were done, but the group wanted to stay. Joey & Megan would have come over, but the kids were sleeping.  Plus none of them had had any dinner.  We gave them some chips to help tie them over and they had a big pot of coffee too.  We had fun, we all laughed so hard.  I wish would could do stuff like that more often. 

In the group (not counting us) was Colton, Kelly Mikelson (bro from Hibbing who came to our flashlight tag party), Meryl, Jed & Tori. 

Colton got himself a puppy.  He just loves it, and it is really cute.  It is half Golden Lab & half Golden retriever.  He named him Dallas. 

Colton will be moving Jan 1st into an apt with Jason Perez.  We haven't met him yet.  He has a nice 2 bedroom apt, and the second room is empty.  We are all so happy for him to get out of the house he is in.  Jed will be moving down to Iowa and move in with his brother & sister-in-law.  They have been wanting him to move down for months and he really wants to go.  Jed was telling us last night he was really happy about the move.  I'm happy for him, I think he will do better.  At least he gave it a chance with Colton and Colton gave it a chance with Jed.  I knew they wouldn't be the best match but it would be a good learning experience for them both.

Jason, goes to the Rice Lake Spanish cong even though he lives in Superior.  He travels a lot for his work (don't know what word he does). We hope to meet him soon.  Since he is gone a lot, it will be good for Colton, as he will get some down time now that he just wasn't getting.  Colton seems to be making more friends which is great too.
