So I figured after all the research I did on renting a car, and all the tips and secrets, not one made any mention that you cannot rent a car on-line without a credit card.  An actual credit card.  I've used my bank card for years and never had a single problem, until now.  My card won't work.  I did find you can use cash, but you don't get the prepaid discount.  Plus you may not be able to get the rate or discounts available.  OH and if you use cash, at the time of pick up you pay the full amount and you have to pay a $300 deposit.  You might get the deposit back if they can't find a way to swindle it out of you.  But I am going to look that rental over with a fine tooth comb and take lots and lots and lots and lots of time and date stamped photos so I have proof.

So I'm not real happy about that.  I'm just disappointed.  I will try and call them directly and see if I can't make something happen, but either way I'm sure something will workout.

Steph worked until 2pm at the Mercantile, then started the 4pm shift at DQ.  In between she did some work here too.  When she gets home she is going to make cookies for Colton's party tomorrow.  She is one busy chick today!

Mom is getting more help too.  She has gotten so bad, her one leg is starting to twist and she is having a lot of pain in it.  She can hardly get it to move and sometimes she can't even move her toes.  She spends most of her day sitting in her wheel chair or sleeping.  So the program she is in reevaluated her and allotted  71 more hours a month for her care.  In time she won't be able to get out of bed by herself or use the bathroom by herself.  I don't know what will be done then.  Well, I do have an idea, and I guess we will just have to see when that happens.

So there isn't much cleaning that needs to be done before tomorrow.  I worked on my plants today.  I don't have any new potting soil, but I did transplant some of the plants, and moved the big plant stand into the living room.  Mom gave me some of the palm leaf plant and some of her aloe plant, so I put those in the living room.  I tried before to put plants in the living room, but that was when everyone watched a lot of TV and wouldn't open the curtains.  Now the TV typically doesn't go on until the evening, if at all, so I can leave the curtains open all the time.  So I am hoping that the plants will love that southern exposure.  We will see.
