Flashlight Tag

Yesterday we had our Flashlight tag party and it was a HOOT! In fact, it was all sorts of sounds, people hooting, howling, screeching, screaming, running, laughing. It seems that everyone had so much fun!!!! I found places to stand and just listen and watch. It cracked me up so much!
Leon had built a nice bon fire in a sandy area of the yard near the deck. Most people who didn't play sat and visited there. A few stayed inside and played cards. There didn't end up being any little kids, ... well there was one who was a bit younger but she stayed with her parents.
The dinner was great, and it just sounds like everyone had a really good time. Deenie was even able to come for awhile. I didn't think she would, with Jim having his shoulder surgery a couple days before, but Stacy stayed with Jim and that freed Deenie up. I think it was good for her to be able to talk to the friends and get some moral support. There were hardly any from our hall there for the games, most of the people came from Superior. One from Duluth and 2 from Grand Rapids. Mostly it was people we had never had over before.
It was a great party, to be followed by Livingstons staying the night with us. They helped alot with cleaning up. Plus we had a blast with them today. I got a lot of walking in yesterday and today. Which is so nice.
Lauren is really down an out with her cold. She did have fun last night, but today she is really whipped out! Me too, so much back pain, i am just all hunched over. Oh well, after a few days of rest, it will start to feel better. It was totally worth it.
