I didn't think I would be saying this... ever again, but we are planning a family trip.  Actually, the girls were planning to take EO & I out to Bethel next year.  But that was before Colton moved back.  Now, Colton wants to go out to Bethel too.  So they have been working out a plan.  Colton, Steph and Lauren have been trying to get if figured out.  Plus Colton ordered maps besides. So they are pretty serious about making this happen.  Well, it will be a little more than family, we most likely will have our newest member of the family with us too.  We all are looking forward to Autumn joining us on this trip.  I think we will be going sometime in February.  We have to nail down the date yet, but most of the other plans are coming along.

I managed the Bristol trip, but was so tried by the end of it.  Which we weren't go all that long, but between Bristol and the California trip, I could see where my limits were and where I needed my breaks.  With everyone there, they can take care of things for me.  As long as I don't have to drive, I will be in decent shape.

We also have someone in mind to house sit for us, so they can take care of the animals.  We haven't asked yet, because we still have to nail down that date.  they can also take care of the apts for the week we are gone, if there is any snow removal that has to be done.

We have been trying to make this happen for a number of months now.  But this way will help more, because everyone will be sharing in the costs.  Plus we will take 2 cars out there.  Seems more expensive then just taking the van, but I guess the van isn't getting good gas mileage right now.

So that is the talk today.  I just hope I don't have a bad digestive flare up on the trip.  The one I am having today isn't pretty.  AT ALL!

We talked about going out to Bethel a few different times, but EO was so nervous about the thought of having to drive in NY.  In fact, I don't know how he is managing the thought of it now.  I actually didn't think driving in CA was all that big a deal, it just got harder to do the more tired I became.  I did a lot of praying too, so that helped.  I just wish we had a decent van we could take.  Oh well. I think I am going to need to buy a pair of dressy walking boots.
