Just love love love this!!

Whoa nelly!  I have been dealing with my ears being flared up at the same time my allergy/sinus flare up.  Not real bad, although I had one day where the lymph nodes behind my left ear was super swollen.  Well, that settled down and just when I thought everything is getting better.. well it is but then my right ear flared up super bad last night.  Swollen and aching.  But then my sinuses on my right side is also aching, both in my forehead and my cheek. So I currently have an ice pack on it and have taken more meds. I am really hoping it will only be swollen for a short time like it was for my left year.  I would hate to get an infection in it.  I am also taking decongestant to help dry up the fluids/swelling.  I am going to try to stay on top of the meds today for it.

Steph came home last night, which is always nice.  She is very excited about some changes at work.  Not only will she get some training in other departments making her more valuable, but she will get a raise for each department she learns how to do.  How cool is that?!?!  Right now, each department just does their own work.  But she has gone ahead and been teaching people from other departments how to do her job. when the managers not only heard but watched how she is teach them, they were thrilled.  They will now be allowing those in various departments to learn other jobs, and get a raise for doing it.  Steph has been talking with the managers from the start telling them what she would like to do.  Now that she is settled into her own department, she is ready to take on more work.  There are a lot more details and aspects of what will be happening, but I just wanted to post how cool management is about letting her and others expand.  Although her department head is really afraid he will loose her.  That is a good thing, as it is nice to know she is valued.

I am just seriously tired right now, and it isn't even noon.  just one of those days I guess. 

I did manage to do a little more work in spare room.  There is still a lot more work I need to do. But I am making progress. I'm only spending about 10 minutes in there at a time, but in those 10 minutes, the change is huge!  I just need to get a desk.  I would love a big corner type desk, however, we have no way to haul anything big.  The truck is in serious need of repair.  Tuesday EO will take it in to be checked.  If it won't cost a lot he will have it done right away, but we are really sure it will cost a fortune, so we will have to save money for awhile, I'm sure.  Anyway, unless the desk I get is new in a box, and has to be put together...however, i don't think i could afford to buy one right now.  I know I will get one someday.
