delays

Lauren got a phone call at 8am saying the guys hadn't finished installing the new carpet, some tool broke and they couldn't get another until this morning. The lady felt so bad, and said, if we can't get the UHall returned in time she would pay for it. EO just talked to her again and they are making progress but, it looks like it will be about 3pm at the soonest that we can get in there. I have no idea about who was going to help in Superior, and if they can even stay that late. But we do have a crew from down here who have volunteered to go up and help us in Superior today. What a huge relief that is!!!
Plus Steph is going to stay the night tonight with them so she can keep helping Lauren unpack. That should help them so much too.
They sure worked hard yesterday to help us load the truck. Then a number of them cleaned Lauren's empty room and then moved all of Colton's stuff in her old/his new room. Lauren spent her last night here on the couch. Kind of a sad way to spend it, but at least it is a really comfy couch!
As for me, I have been doing lots of praying and physically dealing with a lot of headaches. I have yet another one today. Although it might have a little to do with the rain and ice and snow we have been getting since yesterday. I guess the roads were super icy this morning. I helped EO hang the curtains that Colton used as a wall.and now they are up over the big window in the living room. They look really nice in there. EO wants us to get new curtains for the dinning room, kitchen and entry. All matching. But I think we might be paining in here, so I am going to wait until we do that first. I painted the entry the year we moved in, now 14 years later, it really needs to be repainted.
EO is busy cleaning and emptying our room from a lot of the extra stuff we have in there. The first thing he did was he put the treadmill in the living room, plugged it in and started walking. About a minute later, he got off and went back to work. on our room. He keeps hauling stuff out of there. I don't know where he is finding stuff to put in there but he is.
I don't know what kind of help I am going to be today. Not much I'm sure. If i can just drive us safely up there, that alone will be an accomplishment. In the meantime, we just sit and wait.
