Even some dogs have been able to help people to learn the truth.Steph got home late last night. She went to an apt at DBU (Duluth Business University) and it was suppose to be a 30 min apt. It ended up being 4 hours. She has been wanting to do some training/schooling. She was thinking of medical ... tech... doing ultra sounds. Anyway, I told her if she is going to do schooling, she may as well do something she wants to do. Since she was in preschool she has wanted to be a Veterinarian Technician (Vet Tech), not a full Vet as she never wanted to be the one to cut into animals, but she wanted to be the nurse. So that is what she is going to school for. Which will serve her well in the new system too. She took the text to see if she could even get in...she told the lady she figured she would fail the test, but the each of the three tests she was 88, 92 and 98. Far exceeding what she needed to pass. She was so excited... she never thought she was smart, she says that constantly, that she isn't smart. No matter how many times I would tell her she is smart, she wouldn't believe me. So she is excited to do this. The big thing is, she did it all on her own.
Busy day today... ok, busy morning for me... but everyone else is busy all day. Steph had to open the coffee shop this morning. Lauren is gone, she had to go pick up second harvest for Mom and McDonalds. Colton will be leaving soon for school. EO & I had to run down to the bank this morning to tend to some last minute stuff for the house. then he dropped me off and headed up to Duluth. My IRIS nurse will be here soon, after my really high fever yesterday I will have plenty to talk to her about today.
He has to pick up Carol and bring her back over to the Villa Marina. She will be going over there with oxygen now. With all the pressure she has had on her lungs, she doesn't have full capacity...well almost no capacity. So not only does she have to deal with the vacuum tube but now oxygen. She didn't have as much pain yesterday and she is still struggling to eat, but she works at it. She just has no appetite at all. The doc said the infections she has isn't as bad as they first thought, so they are able to take her off the big stuff and go with oral antibiotic now. So yesterday wasn't as rough as the past couple days. The doc said to expect her to keep having to go back and forth from the hospital to the nursing home.
One of the hardest things about going through this, is it is really hard for EO to get out in service and to the meetings. Every day he goes up to Duluth to spend time with his mom so she doesn't feel forgotten. The high stress and now it is day 42 since the first day she went into the hospital and 38 days that she has been up there. He has been to town of those days. He is so wore out. I had him read Sunday's day text...that is the other thing, he doesn't have much time to get his studying in. Anyways... he had tears in his eyes when he read it... well, i did to, even thinking about it now...

He does not give the spirit by measure.—John 3:34.
Moses was entrusted with enormous responsibility in the nation of Israel. God’s spirit empowered him to prophesy, judge, write, lead, and perform miracles. (Isa. 63:11-14) Yet, at one point, Moses lamented that the load was simply too heavy. (Num. 11:14, 15) So Jehovah took “away some of the spirit” that was upon Moses and put it on 70 others to help carry the workload. (Num. 11:16, 17) However, Moses still had all the spirit that he needed. Today, Jehovah supplies as much of his spirit as we need, according to our circumstances. Are you enduring trials? Are legitimate demands on your time increasing? Are you striving to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of your family while coping with rising expenses or anxieties over health? Are you carrying weighty responsibilities in the congregation? Be assured that by means of his spirit, God can give you the strength you need to cope with any situation.—Rom. 15:13. w11 12/15 3:3-5
EO says he realizes he has never had to deal with so much and that he has had it easy. My hope is that he will be able to see Jehovah's strength is here. I know how easy it is to be so weighed down that you loose focus that Jehovah never left your side. So we have been trying to reflect on His support each night.

*************UPDATE
Well, it is another night in the hospital for Carol. She ate and then couldn't keep it down. She is on anti nausea meds, so she shouldn't have gotten sick. So they are running more xrays and they are going to try and figure out what is going on, if it is the cancer pushing things backwards again or what. A glimmer of hope...dashed!
She asked that one of the family stay with her tonight as she is to fine a lady to impose her being sick like this on anyone. so Lauren will stay with her tonight. I totally get how she feels. There are some things I won't subject on just anyone and some thing I won't even put my own family through. Dear sister Stauffer had walked in one time right when I got brought back into my room after one of my surgeries, and I got sick. She helped me through that. I felt so bad so so so bad, to this day and maybe forever I feel bad that she had to endure me being sick in front of her. She was so sweet and wonderful and I apologized profusely, and she just smiled and stroked my head and she said she was glad she was there to help me as no one else was around. She had a point, but still. That is how Carol is feeling right now. She just doesn't want to subject anyone else to that.
