It only took 6 months but they are starting to get along.  Latae will even share her comfy bed with Milly.  When Latae isn't in Steph's bed, Latae sleeps in my chair.  Milly usually sleeps in the office chair that is at the dinning table.  But for the first time last night, Milly was in Latae's spot (Latae was with Steph)  Milly has snuggled with Latae enough to try out Latae's bed and I think Milly likes it.  Our babies are so funny.

So yesterday it was cooler temps, today we have 72 degrees, tomorrow we will get a high in the 50's, Monday morning maybe some icy temps and then at night they are talking snow.  WOW it is just the oddest temps!  Plus much of the U.S. is under tornado advisory today.  If this mixing pot of strange weather isn't a sign of the times I don't know what is.

I hardly slept last night, I was just too hot!  I had my window open and a fan blowing but still too hot. I hardly even used a sheet.  I just can't handle heat when I sleep.  It is times like this I miss my water bed.  I never needed a fan in the summer because I would keep the temp lower on the bed, and so it was like floating on a cool lake.  In the winter I cranked up the heat and was cozy all night long.  I wish Leon wasn't allergic or what ever you want to call it.   He just couldn't adapt to it and was miserable all night.  Oh well, guess I will have to break out the wet socks.  Everyone thinks my wet socks are strange, but rinsing my socks in cool water, and then laying with a fan on them, cools me right down so I am totally comfortable.  I tried the wet towel around the neck thing and I bought some of those fabric tubes filled with some sort of bean that you soak in water, but it never worked.  on the feet is the only thing that helps me.  Leon won't try it because he hates when his socks get wet and I don't really like it either but it s a different matter when your dieing from the heat and can't stand it anymore.   I love my idea even if people think it is strange.

I was able to put 2 more hours in today in the ministry, so I am at 10 hours.  I thought it would be less, but I went back and counted, and I was wrong.  (love when that happens)  So now I don't have to worry so much.

Oh, so we ran out of postage stamps, and so EO picked up some post card stamps for me too, ... the post office only had 8 post card stamps... isn't their job, to provide postage?   It is as stupid as the time we went to KFC and they said, sorry we ran out of chicken.... WHAT?!? Chicken is all they sell and they ran out?  I actually felt bad for the people because  of how stupid that had to sound to have to turn away customers.  Then EO was kind of on a rant when he was telling me about the postage thing, and said, it is like going to a car wash that has no water. or fishing a lake with no fish or or or... I was amused, he can be so cute!  EO is still feeling rough.  his cold is starting to break up now, but he spent half an hour this morning coughing and hacking, it was pretty gross.

I don't have any big plans today, which is fine as I am just so tired today.  I would like to go for a walk, but Steph works at the Mercantile until 4 and then has to dash over to the DQ until 8 (or 8:15)  So she has a really long day.  I might go for a walk anyways.  I also need to go buy some mechanical pencils.  I don't think I can handle walking to the D.G. alone, so I will have to figure something out.
