So our cong cooks today for the pioneer school.  Steph signed up to do some cooking too.  So she found recipes, and last night chopped up all the veggies for a Spanish veggie dish and Spanish rice.  The goofy girl also bought 3 bottles of Coke, 2 bags of coffee (from the coffee shop) and 2 cases of bottled water.  I asked her why she spent so much money, she said because she really wanted to.  She said she had the money set aside for it.  Then all she needed to do was throw the dishes together, but... but, she had to work at 6:30 this morning.  So she got everything set up, and EO & I got up at 7 and we threw the veggies and what not together.  Then EO brought everything to Adrian and Lizzy's about 8:45 and loaded it all up for them.  So it is all done.

Then later last night, it occurred to me, they might not have time to chill the bottled water and Coke.  So I rearranged the whole fridge and we got both cases of water and the pop in there with all those containers of chopped veggies.  EO said, if anyone can do it, it would be me.  I had to laugh.

I wonder if I can remember what all the veggies were... onions, red and green peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, corn, green beans, .... I think that was all of them... spanish tomatoes... no I think that was ... yeah, that was in there too.

My eyes are still burning from those onions.  Last night while we were in bed watching TV, our eyes started burning and we were wondering why we couldn't see.  Steph and Colton had just finished chopping up the onions.  Lauren said she was having the same problem.  I had EO light a candle which helped.  Then this morning when I went to saute the onions, our eyes started burning again, so EO lit the candle again.

I also got all the dishes washed while EO tended to the Spanish rice and Aztec veggie dishes.  So it is all done and cleaned up, although the house still does smell like those veggies, but that's ok.

Now I am all tuckered out and I am going to go lay down for awhile.
