cold

I am so cold today..... i'm sure everyone else is too. It is only about 40 something outside and super windy. We don't have any wood in the house, and the furnace ran most of the night, so I am all plugged up this morning. I never sleep good when the furnace runs cause I just get so congested. Anyways, it is 67 in the house right now, I have two sweaters on and I am wrapped up in a double fleece blanket. It is just too cold for the 11th of May.
So our 24th wedding anniversary is in 2 days. We had so much stuff come up, that we don't even have money to go get our anniversary chili dog from DQ. I seriously doubt we would get paid before payday (the 15th), so we might have to delay our DQ lunch. That's ok. We don't have any plans for our anniversary this year. We don't always go do something. I was actually thinking I would like to go drive up the shore. but it will be too cold on tuesday to go to gooseberry falls. but thursday it will be much warmer, and after payday IDK. I am amazed that it has been 24 years, and next year... married 25 years. that is just crazy to me. I think the kids want to have a party for our 25th. I wouldn't mind that, I'm sure EO wouldn't mind it either. But if they opt not to, that is fine too. It is hard to know where everyone will be a year from now.
Colton had his last night working at the St. Croix Inn. So no more missing Sunday meetings. Plus, he has been already working at the DQ, so the past couple days have been rough on him. Working at both places and only sleeping 4 or 5 hours. It will be so nice having everyone working day shifts again.
Lauren and EO are in service right now. Steph is at work. Colton is sleeping and I am freezing. Well at least I was able to get my Bible reading done. I finished the book of Esther today. I enjoyed that book, but I am really looking forward to starting Job. I really am so far ahead on my Bible reading. I am actually surprised. For May 11th, my schedule says I should be in 1 Chron 7-9. I'm not trying to speed through it, I do try to meditate on it.... ok, so when it comes to the verses that are "the son of...", that is a bit harder to meditate on, and there are a few others that are a bit challenging. But I do strive to glean what I can from the reading.
Yeap, again I am in a lot of pain and being cold doesn't help at all. It is funny how this family HATES being hot, but they don't mind if it is cold. I guess I would rather live where it is cold and I can have a warm fire, then be where it is hot and not be able to breath. Our furnace is kicking on right now. It hasn't most of the morning, so I wonder what changed.
This one medication I am taking for the pain in my hands, makes my hands warm all the time. My hands used to get so stinkin cold all the time, which would make them hurt even more. Now, they are always warm. Although i still have to wear gloves when I am outside, as I can't handle anything cold. It puzzles me, that my hands can be so warm, but cold air, cold water cold anything feels like razors are slicing my hands up. The medication is also helping with the constant tingling I have in my hands and arms. It was getting pretty painful and now for the most part I can ignore it.
My stomach was so bad last night. i just can't eat any kind of pasta at all anymore. It is starting to hurt again today...
wow, it is snowing right now.... and the pain is bad
