Chinese food

The girls had a craving for chinese food, so Colton called in an order and the girls are on there way to town to pick it up. We will have a very yummy meal when they get home. I remember being young and single and just going out to get whatever we were in the mood for. Granted when I was single I didn't have to go as far... and really in Duluth, there weren't many places open 24/7, unlike when I lived in Oregon. But I still remember those adventures, just for the fun of it.
The kids were chatty this morning. So I didn't get much done after my morning worship, just visited with the kids. Colton had an early morning class. Steph doesn't have to work until later today. A short shift for inventory. Lauren called in and will start work an hour later (because she went on the food run). EO is doing some yard work right now.
Our family was invited to dinner last night, along with Bill & Staelens to the Stute's. I was planning to attend, but I started running a temp, and Steph still wasn't feeling well at all. But the rest of the family really enjoyed going. I felt so bad I wasn't up to going. But that is what my life is like.
This morning, I showed a video of an interview of a 9 year old Witness girl who, along with her mom and baby brother were playing dead in that terror attack at the Westgate Mall in Nirobie, Kenya, a week or so ago. I had read the story about how the mom and daughter were singing kingdom songs to help keep the little boy quiet. In the interview, the little girl sang "Tomorrow" from the movie Annie while she played piano. Then she sang the Kingdom song, "The Miracle of Life" (without the piano). What a Witness she was able to give. She said she prayed a lot and even though she was afraid, she was calm. It was a cool interview to watch.
Today my muscles are all knotted up, which is also giving me a pounding headache. It is time again for me to take some meds, so I am going to go do that.
