Busy Busy Busy

Opps, I didn't realize so many days had gone by without a post. So we did manage to get Lauren's room all washed down. But it didn't completely cure her gasping, but it was improved. Then, she moved her fan (she had washed it down days before) and there was more improvement. So now she is able to sleep in there at night. About the only thing that didn't get washed was her ceiling, which that just got dusted. At least it is really clean now.
They tried to get her in to see the doc yesterday, but they were booked, so she is going in today. It is frustrating that they wouldn't take her in sooner. Plus, EO and the kids don't have any hospitalization insurance. They do have the clinic and eye and dental, it is just that hospitalization that is an issue for us.
I think I posted already, that all my benefits are going to be gone the end of the month. I don't even know if I will have any medicare for my medical stuff including prescription. I just don't know, which is scary being I'm on so many meds. At least my thyroid meds don't cost a lot. So at least I can buy that. But I have no idea about my blood pressure meds or my heart meds. I do know, I can't afford nexium or celebrex. Oh the end of this system is going to be tough with no medication. But then, Jehovah never said it would be easy.
Colton came down yesterday and stayed the night. He just left as he has to work today. We played video games together which was fun. I had the hardest time getting anything done yesterday. I just didn't want to do anything. I think it was all that rain we got. It rained so hard, I haven't seen it rain that much in a long time. Yet we didn't get as much rain as some other places. They actually canceled the meeting in Superior because of flooded streets. With all the rain we got, we don't even have a water puddle. Boy is the ground dry!
So one project I have/did is I sewed up a number of my mom's shirts. Now that she is in her wheel chair always, the chair likes to grab her shirts and pull them so that her button front shirts often pop open. Well instead of making it harder for her to button but closing up the button holes, as that wouldn't help with the gaps between the buttons, I just sewed the shirt shut, except for top buttons? about to the bust line down, so that she can pull the shirt on over her head. And then she just has the one button to button. Then I sewed it down, but I stopped at the bottom button, so that the bottom of the shirt can still flail open and not be tight at the bottom. I'm not sure if my description makes sense. But I think this will solve her blouse issues. I told her when ever we do her laundry, if there is a shirt that hasn't been sewn, I will sew it closed for her. Hopefully with this first batch, she will be happy with how it works.
Yesterday, I just had no interest in going on the computer. I didn't even mess with my email. I just didn't want to look at it, and I don't know why. Maybe it was the weather. Who knows. But even today I didn't have much interest in being on here, but I thought I better tend to my email, as that gets out of hand real fast. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO tired! I trying to remember what I did Wednesday. Oh, I went to mom's to work for Lauren. Yesterday it rained and I hung out with the kids. Well, Steph didn't get home until after 7. So I didn't get to hang out with her until later. Her back was giving her trouble last night. She says it is sore today but much better.
I'm excited, Lauren bought me a cross stitch kit off Amazon.com. It is so pretty, I can't wait to start it. I think I will frame it once it is done. She was going to get herself one to do with me, but she decided at the last minute not to. She really prefers knitting. I wish knitting didn't kill my arms and neck so much. Yet cross stitching doesn't bother me. I'm not great at it yet, but I do enjoy it. There are so many pics available to do that are just gorgeous! I had no idea how pretty some of them are. I had 4... actually 6 of them ... already 8 of them I had the hardest time choosing from. I decided I want to buy them all. ok, buy them one at a time. I don't know what I will do with them. I do think the next one I do, after the one that is coming, I will do for Lauren's room. Some of them are just too pretty to not frame and hang as art. I'm just so excited about doing one. It has been awhile since the last one I did and I miss it. I do prefer kits over free style as I am just not creative enough. to decide what I want to do.
This is what happens when I don't come on here every day, I ramble on and on. But I am so tired, I need to go.
