Black light

Faroe Island NW of Scottland.... I want to see this someday. So the kids have been talking to some of our friends about the next party. I can't believe they are talking about it already. That is just crazy. Anyway, they have been asking if they would be interested in attending a black light dance, and everyone is loving the idea. It has been a really long time since we have had a dance in this area. Not counting the recent wedding. Actually, I think that is where the idea kind of came from... i think, i'm not sure. Well between that and Emily's grad party. But... EO says we should have it in March when there isn't anything going on, and that we should have it at the town/village hall, as we couldn't afford the community center, unless the kids want to pay for that. Oh and EO says we should make it a pizza party, where everyone brings pizzas. That would take a really long time to cook, but he thinks everyone should cook them at home and bring them right over. The people who live further away could bring salads and drinks. Although if we had the community center, I think they have more than one oven and that would work too. Unless we bought a bunch from JT's.... IDK. Colton said he and Steph could work on the music, to make sure it is decent but good for dancing. EO said it would be easier on me if they did it this way, as i would have little to nothing to do. Maybe I will do that, just leave it up to the family, and I can just attend. Well, I might help with the invites. ??? I think if enough people were interested in attending, i would talk to the kids about all going in and renting the community center.
So if everyone could talk about it and see if they would be interested and let us know?
Ok, so I feel a little better today. My fever is gone and I haven't had to throw up yet today, so I'm pretty glad about that. Actually everyone looks better today. So at least the bug everyone had was a small/short one.
Today I have been totally in the mood to listen to music. I'm not always up for it. but I just can't help myself today. So I have my Itunes on.
Speaking of music, Steph said the customers at DQ are always so happy when they are singing away. They have done that a number of times and the customers always have really big smiles. Even when they sing wrong they customers just laugh. I told her, anytime we go somewhere and the staff is happy and singing, it makes me want to return. I asked her if she sings at the coffee shop, she said sometimes, but it is hard to sing when none of the other staff will. She said one lady will sometimes. So she mostly whistles. MAN O MAN I wish I could whistle like Steph. ok, I wish I could whistle. I totally stink at it. I think people complain less too when the staff is singing. Not that they complain much at all, but it has to have a good effect on people. I told her she should do it all the time. The only problem is, they aren't allowed to play music, so they have to sing songs they can remember. I do think music playing sometimes can be annoying but not when the staff is just belting out something.
We found out an old friend of ours isn't going to live through the day. It is so sad. Roger Linsky has mesothelioma. I feel so bad for what Becky and the family are going through. I remember attending their wedding. I was pretty little, but it is the first wedding I remember going to. He will be missed by so many. At least he won't be sleeping long.
