Lauren's new shoes

EO is making us breakfast and then we will start our morning worship.  So I thought now would be a good time to write.

EO was gone pretty much the whole day.  Funny thing was, even though i was by myself the whole day, it didn't feel like it.  I talked with Lauren a number of times while she was shopping yesterday.  

The best news of all... So yesterday morning Lauren said her feet were so inflamed it felt like she was walking on broken glass.  (not that that was great news) but she went looking for shoes that would make her be able to walk... she has been looking at kmart, walmart, target... not finding anything.  and she called me crying... she found some, and the put them on and could walk with almost no pain at all.  I was soooooo happy for her.  she has such terrible flare ups ever since she was a little kid.  I had taken her to a number of docs but couldn't find out why.  oh and the lab work they did all came back negative.  

I told her she should have 2 pairs, one for work and one for everyday.  and then two more pairs for the times of the year when her feet aren't swollen.  but she doesn't need to buy the ones for her non-swollen feet until after they calm down.  She bought one, and then was going to look on line and see if they had more colors than what they had.  She has seen them on line before, but didn't know if they would help with her feet issues.  well, now she knows they will.  She was so happy and I was so happy for her.  What a huge relief!!!! 

Tomorrow, EO is going to go up with his dad again to town, and he will meet up with Lauren so they can go pick up their glasses (they both got new ones).  Then EO is going to take Lauren to a place in West Duluth that deals with foot problems.  To see if there is anything they can do for her.  It isn't a doctor, just a place that specializes in supports and what not.  After that, EO will most likely ride with Lauren, back to Solon as Lauren is going to Becky's PC party.  I think Steph will go too, depending on how tired she is.  She has been really tired lately.  I have told her a bunch of times she should go in and have her thyroid checked.  One of these years she might.
