EO & I are heading back up today to see Carol.  Yesterday they had taken fluid again from her abdomen and the sac around her lungs, and I don't know how much they removed but it was more than last time from her lungs but less from her abdomen.  This is the cancer fluid I am talking about, not the surgery fluid that she has the vacuum tube for.  Carol said afterwards she felt a lot better as the pressure was gone.  

Steph stayed with her last night and said she kept having coughing fits.  They had to prop her up, and it seemed to help some.  So Carol didn't sleep very well last night.  

I was doing OK yesterday, but today I am pretty wore out.  But I am going up anyways.  I will just have to be sick later, as there is no time today.

Steph had to open the coffee shop this morning. They couldn't find anyone to do that for her.  But then when she gets off work, the kids are going to a grad party today.  So since I would be home alone, that is another reason I am going with.  But mainly I just want to see Carol.  I am hoping she is feeling a little better.  She really wasn't herself yesterday, as she hadn't slept.

We are looking for volunteers to stay the night with Carol.  it is mainly so that Carol can have some "security" to not feel like she is alone.  And assist her when she needs to get up or if she needs anything (ie like her Bible or hairbrush) that sort of thing.  We well know staying the night is a huge huge huge favor and it really isn't for everyone.  There is a bed that we have been using up there.  So if you want to spread the word to the sisters.  We won't ask people directly, but if someone wants to contact us (as we are doing the scheduling) please feel free to do so.  And for anyone who just isn't comfortable with it or have other obligations, there is no hard feelings, we totally understand.  After all, I can't stay with her either.  But the girls have been tag teaming it with Deenie and Stacy, and we could use a few extra hands.  Even if it is only a one time thing.
