First... I have been just getting fed up with my hair.  half black half redish brown.  I've been growing it out, so I could cut off the black.  I just colored and colored, but can't get it all one color.  I had let my bangs grow out, as my frizzy bangs just were bugging me.  but that just brought a whole other problem... they were always flying away.  So sick of my color, sick of my hair, I cut it today.  It was long enough that I could cut & layer it and rid my self of the black.  I am so happy now.  Granted I can't put it up too well for summer, but I don't care.  I thought I might get a bunch of little clips to get it out of my way if I want.  I am happy with it now.

so Friday, I got 3 messages from Livingstons, I told Leon they wanted us to come down, but before we figured anything out, they called.  They really wanted us to come.  Steph had to work Saturday morning, so we left Saturday afternoon.  We brought a ton of food with us for them.  We walk in, and there are lights and balloons up. Roses and a card for our anniversary.  After we made tacos & ate, we looked at the card, and Chris & Shannon had arranged for tickets for us to go on the paddle boat tour down the St. Croix river.  They planned for just eo & I to go, but we asked them to join us.  We had such a nice time. and we took a bunch of pictures.  We walked a bit around the interstate park and then drove a bit...  St. Croix Falls and Taylor Falls have the St. Croix River between them.  There is an interstate park, that is partly on the St. Croix Falls, WI and part on the Taylor Falls, MN side.  It was all very pretty.

While we were gone, the girls made and decorated a cake, which was very pretty and very yummy.  They then got a movie and picked up dinner from KFC and we enjoyed the evening.  We had to leave, about 11pm, as eo had a dr. apt early the next morning.

We did go to the meeting with Livingstons.  They are going to the Chisago cong. 

Needless to say, we felted special, for the care and generosity they gave us.  It was a very nice surprise.  We went home really being happy at such a great weekend.

Steph will be going back down on Saturday and staying a week.  That is going to be hard for her, to loose a week of work, but, they really want her to come, and she really wants to go.
