the girls were having fun... this is Ash, Mickey, Mikayla, Steph Keeley and Meryl.

the party went off without a hitch.  It was a lot of work (as Scripture dinner always is) but there were so many helping hands it made the load lighter.  I didn't do that much, I just gave a few instructions on how to make a few things.

We couldn't have pulled it off without the gang that Livingstons brought with them (Chris, Shannon, Emily, Ashlynn, Mickey(Mikayla) Josh and Josias).  They helped with lights and set up.  I totally want to adopt Mickey as she just jumped right in and did things without even needing to be asked.  Like washing all the tables.  EVERYONE worked so hard.  EO did SOOOO much work in the kitchen.

then when it came time to start, everyone was seated, Mike S. gave the prayer and Colton explained how things would work.  We had enough help that we could serve everyone, which was fabulous!!!  At first they couldn't fill dishes fast enough, and then some of the servers jumped right in, would grab a menu, fill the plate and serve it.  They also served the drinks.  As for me, I took the menus as they came in and wrote down the name, the dessert and if they had any allergies (like gluten). Jenny F made a gluten free cheesecake, which was perfect as besides her family there were a couple others who needed gluten free food.

Once we were done, we dished up, and then set the food out so everyone could come and get more to eat.  Although we didn't get to see everyone's expressions, I did hear lots of laughing and gasping going on.

Then we served desert and that went well also.  It wasn't long after that, and the dance started.  The young sure had a lot of energy to dance all night.   Actually I didn't do anything with the dessert either... well, I put fresh fruit on the gluten free cheese cake.  They all had it figured out and that was awesome!

Once the dance started I just sat in my chair, as I really couldn't do much else.  I did get to visit with a number of different people.  While Colton DJ-ed and the girls danced, Leon and Chris were doing dishes.  They really worked hard.  But they got to do some dancing.  I asked Lauren to go and tell dad to take a break and dance.  She danced with him a couple times, and Steph did, and I danced once at the end of the night.

It was so awesome to watch so many really cutting a rug!  I wanted to take pictures, but I was just to tired to even deal with it, but a number of others did, so I look forward to seeing those pics later.

When we got home, we received a few messages thanking us for throwing this event.  It made all of us feel good, as it was a LOT of work and we spent a LOT of money.  But we just couldn't have done it without the help of every single person who attended!!  I don't know what the finial number was but I think it was 84.

Even though I woke up about 6am with a serious migraine, i am still happy with how well it went yesterday.

BTW, I still put an hour in the ministry and did my Bible reading yesterday.
