Serve Jehovah with a Joyful Heart.          bro Skidmore

asking people what would make them happy, most would say "money".
but if you ask the wealthy ones, most admit they are not happy.  and some have said, money really have no connections with happiness.

1 Tim 1:11... according to the glorious good news of the happy God...

Phi 4:4... always rejoice in the lord...

Ecc  2:10... i did not deny myself anything... but then i reflected on all the hard work... everything is futile and striving after the wind...

Ps 64:10... the righteous will rejoice in him

Ps 100: 1-   ... invigorating, uplifting...Jehovah is God, and he is the one that made us... praise his name... his loyal love endures forever...

our expression of joy should not be weak.
when you dwell on the negative all the time, you are denying yourself that joy.
Jehovah is the only real source of never ending happiness.
especially with our ministry.

those with health problems also struggle to find joy.
but by not with drawing into ourselves, we need to focus on helping others the best that we can.
people have lost their joy.
it is hard to understand why some people can't get it, this is the truth.  but they don't get it because Jehovah isn't calling them.

Matt 24:14... this good news...
the good news is positive so we need to show it.

Rom 10:13... everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved...but how will they hear, without someone to preach...
we have to do this.  the Angles would love to do this, but Jehovah asked us to do this.

Ez 3:17... when you hear a word from my mouth, you must warn them...
if they don't listen that is on them, but you will save your own life...

some loose their joy when they realize some in the truth are not perfect. some personalities we just don't click with...

Mark... sons of thunder...
Mark 10:35-38...
personality problems are nothing new.

Paul said, when I wish to do what is right, what is bad is in me...

HOW CAN WE KEEP THE UNITY
God does not expect perfection of us, so who are we to be nit picky.
keep busy laboring under the direction of the Christ then we won't have so much time on our hands to be critical of others.

if we allow what humans say or do, then we are really serving humans.

What if someone gets privileges that we don't have? if we can't be happy for them, we need an adjustment, not them.

Rom  8:35... who will separate us from the love of the Christ...NOTHING will stop me from serving Jehovah... and NOTHING will separate us from God's love...

1 Cor 15:58... keep busy in the truth...

what can imperfect people do to make Jehovah's heart rejoice...
serve him willingly and whole heartedly.

Action is the best cure for anxiety is to talk about the truth.

Rom 15:13... may the God that gives hope, fill you with all joy....

Do This In Rememberance Of Me

1 Cor. 11:24... After giving thanks, he broke the loaf and said" This means my body which is in your behalf.  Keep doing this in remembrance of me

Basically, how is the date set for the Memorial?
there is a moment when the moon lines up between the earth and the sun.   The term is "new moon".
the moon is not visible from the earth or will it be until 18-30 hours later.
During 2014 the new moon nearest the spring equinox will be on March 30 at 8:45pm.   about 21 hours later, the first sliver of the moon will be visible.  that will be the day when (April 1st) Nisan 1 will start.  Jehovah's Witnesses around the earth have been informed that Nisan 14 begins at sunset on Monday April 14th, 2014

What is represented by the bread and the wine at the Lord's Evening Meal?
The bread is an unleavened type bread that is almost like a cracker.  This represents Jesus' flesh.
the harvest time for grapes is long past, so it isn't a juice but a plain wine that is used and it represents his blood that he poured out in behalf of us.

No matter what our hope is, why is it important to be present at the Memorial?
Even though we most likely won't partake of the bread and the wine, we support the whole program , with our presence and show heartfelt appreciation for Jesus' sacrifice  and reflect obedience to Jesus' command:  Keep doing this in remembrance of me.
