So the past few days, it has been just Lauren & I at home.  Leon & Steph went up to Meadowlands.  Leon wanted to do a litte fishing as it is his last chance to do any.  I don't know if he got to go, as Steph told me, that the truck broke down.  I can't count how many times Leon has gone up there and the truck has broke down.  At least he is where it can get repaired.  I'm so glad Jeff is so good at mechanics.  So they were going to be home today, but now we have no idea when he will get home....

Last night, I found out the brother who lost his wife just after Kelly passed, is engaged.  He is able to move forward.  As wonderful as that is, and as wonderful a sister he is about to marry, it makes me think of Berkie.  I wonder, is he moving forward, is he able to move past his pain?

I'm so happy for the couple, but my heart aches so deeply for Kelly and her family.  I feel like she has just died all over again, and it is making me feel so unbelievably selfish.  I hate feeling like this!

After Kelly died, I noticed I got a lot sicker, but I have also noticed that I have a lot more gray hair.  I guess the stress of loosing her has really taken a toll.  She is really going to get a laugh out of that.

The temps are cooler, and Leon has been busy doing all sorts of tasks outside.  He just has to put the fence up for the chickens and he will bring them home.  One of our hens (our chickens are at Bill's) started laying eggs.  We have 4 hens & one rooster.  Which is plenty to keep us in eggs for the next 2 + years.

The other day, while outside, I got a few bug bites, I think just misquote but I'm guessing.
Last night, I counted my the bites, I counted 47, but I may have missed some.  I mainly counted the one's that are red and swollen.  Some are swollen a lot, about the size of a dime or nickle.  Most of the bites are on my ankles and it hurts to walk, since my ankles are so swollen.  Oh well, what do you do?
